Company History


Brown & Associates, Inc. started in February 1979 with two employees, one press and a single goal - to provide Columbia and the surrounding areas with quality printing at a competitive price.  For over 30 years we have held true to this goal.  Our mission is and has always been to provide exceptional, affordable solutions to meet our clients' printing needs.

 

The demand for printing grew in the 80's and 90's, so Brown & Associates took steps to stay ahead of emerging trends in order to meet our clients growing demands.  We rapidly grew from two employees to a full-service staff that now includes customer service representatives, sales consultants and press operators.  Brown & Associates considers our 250+ clients "family" to whom we will always provide one-on-one attention.

 

In addition to adding much needed personnel, we acquired state-of-the-art equipment that enabled Brown & Associates to become a one-stop-shop for printing and bindery needs.  These include Xerox Digital Full Color and Black & White Printers, Offset Single and Multi Color Presses, Bindery Equipment and Negative Services.

 

 Brown & Associates, Inc. has received numerous awards over the years.  Most recently, we won the 2008 Excellence in Printing Quality Award for Full Color Digital Printing through PGAMA.  In addition, we are a 1999 Print Quality Award winner for Best of Category for stationery, Large Press non-process and a 1995 recipient of the Award of Excellence for stationery, Large Press non-process .  We have also received Certificates of Appreciation from many of our clients and vendors.
